Two recent impressive wins by the Barnegat High School varsity baseball teamare fueling head coach Dan McCoy’s hopes for the Bengals improving on last year’s 9-13 mark and contending for a Shore Conference B-South Title.
On April 12, the Bengals edged St. John Vianney, 4-3, at Central Regional High School. It was one of several games played therein a Strike Out Against Autism Challenge. McCoy said the Holmdel school is rated ninth overall in the state and second in the entire Shore Conference.
