The Barnegat High School girls volleyball team suffered a minor upset in the Shore Conference Tournament last Tuesday. Barnegat, which sported a fine 21-1 record going into its semifinal match and appeared to be on a roll after defeating arch-rival Southern Regional 2-0 the week before in the quarterfinals, was the tourney’s two-seed. St. John Vianney was seeded third and had three fewer victories under its belt.
