Barnegat Township resident Larry Adamson’s curiosity was piqued when he saw an advertisement where the Ms. New Jersey Senior America Pageant was seeking contestant entries.
Adamson thought he had the perfect contestant – his wife, Patricia Adamson. So without her knowing, he went through the various entry forms to sign her up. When he broke the news to her, 75-year-old Patricia was a bit surprised, but also felt pleased.
“I figured she’s very much on the ball and nice looking, so why not?” he said.
