An abandoned sailboat and some necessary bulkhead replacement work were two topics raised at the caucus portion of the Sept. 9 regular council meeting of Barnegat Light borough.

As Mayor Ed Wellington had announced in June, the county and state plan to replace a portion of bulkhead on state and county property, “from Andy’s (at The Light) out to the end of the (Barnegat Lighthouse) State Park.”
