Building height limits in Barnegat Light were increased from 30 to 34 feet, in a unanimous vote at the borough council meeting Wednesday, Feb. 11.
The change is precipitated by the state Department of Environmental Protection’s new base flood elevations as outlined in the Resilient Environments and Landscapes reforms.
