Good news. If you’re a swimmer who wanted to compete in the Ocean Mile Swim but wasn’t going to be able to make it to Barnegat Light for the originally scheduled date, the event has been rescheduled due to poor ocean conditions this past Saturday. The new date is Saturday, Aug. 12.
Hosted by the Barnegat Light Beach Patrol, the Ocean Mile Swim begins at 6:30 p.m. with a short run at the 30th Street beach.
