Alexis Faulds is a poster child for not quitting on anything. And after ripping a blister on her right thumb just four frames into the biggest match of the season, she had every reason to throw in the towel.
“I went to the bathroom, and I might have been in tears,” said Faulds, shortly after the third-seeded Barnegat girls bowling team upended second-seeded Manchester in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 semifinals at Ocean Lanes on Feb. 18.
