Twenty years in, Barnegat Bay Day has become as big a July fixture on Long Beach Island as the Fourth itself. The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences hosts the milestone event Wednesday, July 8, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 120 Long Beach Blvd. in Loveladies. It’s free and open to all ages.
What began as a community education day has grown into an afternoon that draws more than 300 attendees and more than a dozen environmental organizations to the LBIF campus.
