To the Editor:
The building of nine new pickleball courts at the Nelson Avenue park continues to be debated at Beach Haven council meetings. The six existing courts are unsafe, and more courts are needed to support the exploding number of pickleball players in Beach Haven and enhance their experience by reducing wait times.
Despite receiving a donation of $29,000 from the pickleball community to cover the additional funds needed to build the nine new courts, the council decided to evaluate the cost savings…
