Cut Loose: At the end of this month, SwellColors Glass Studio and Gallery owner and artist Mary Tantillo unveils her 2026 collection, “Meridian,” in which she is “attempting to portray the connection of color to frequency and healing modalities,” she said.
“‘Meridian’ is inspired by an ever-growing body of research showing how visible light and infrared light can impact our overall well-being,” she said.
An opening reception at the Surf City gallery is planned for Friday, July 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. with live music by Shaun Cooney.
This summer marks Tantillo’s 30th year working with glass and 20th year in retail.
