They’re Open: This weekend, Aug. 8 and 9, art lovers will feast their senses during the 20th annual LBI Artist Studio Tour, which showcases emerging, mid-career and established artists who live and/or work on Long Beach Island.

The cover art for this year’s tour map is a painting titled “Enjoying the Sunshine from the Shadows” by John Meehan.
Newcomers to the tour this year include painters Susan Weinstein, Karen Tighe and Jenn Malone; returning after a hiatus is photography artist Tony DiBella.
