The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District has issued a public notice regarding a permit application submitted by the N.J. Department of Transportation’s Office of Maritime Resources for maintenance dredging within portions of southern Barnegat Bay, including waterways located in and around Stafford Township.
The proposed project will involve routine maintenance dredging of existing state navigation channels to maintain safe depths for emergency, commercial and recreational vessels.
