St. Francis Community Center’s much-anticipated annual Super Plunge challenges area residents to take a dip in the ice-cold ocean each winter. This year’s event, the 22nd, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8 – the same day as the Super Bowl – at noon on the 48th Street beach in Brant Beach.
“The Super Plunge is a spirited winter tradition that combines community, courage and giving back,” said event organizers.
