To the Editor:
People may have seen the fire trucks parked out front around 9:30 a.m. on Labor Day. The good news is Tuckerton Seaport did not experience a fire and everyone is safe.
The fire sprinkler system on the third floor of the office building/yacht club malfunctioned, filling all three floors with approximately 1,500 gallons of water pumped through the system. A quick response from Tuckerton police and the Parkertown Fire Department mitigated further loss.
