Amato Bill Expanding Athletic Trainers’ Scope, Standards Signed into Law

Legislation sponsored by state Sen. Carmen Amato Jr. (R-9th Dist.) to expand the scope of practice for New Jersey’s athletic trainers, and to raise educational requirements and modernize the definition of athletic training, has been signed into law by Gov. Phil Murphy.
