Before he left office, Gov. Murphy signed bipartisan legislation co-sponsored by Sen. Carmen Amato Jr. (R-9th) to strengthen law enforcement’s ability to combat online child exploitation and human trafficking.
The bill, S-4879, appropriates $3 million to the N.J. Division of State Police for the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) to enhance enforcement capabilities ahead of the World Cup.
