A resolution adopted by the Beach Haven Borough Council last week authorizes the borough to join the New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance in relation to construction of an all-inclusive playground at Nelson Avenue.

The alliance allows for municipalities and other entities to pool purchasing power to reduce costs. It offers pre-negotiated, compliant contracts for various goods and services, eliminating the need for individual agencies to solicit their own bids.
