This month’s snowy weather led to a postponement of the annual Super Plunge, which challenges residents to take a dip in the icy ocean for a good cause. A new date, though, has been announced: Sunday, March 1, at noon on the 48th Street beach in Brant Beach.

“The Super Plunge is a spirited winter tradition that combines community, courage and giving back,” said event organizers at the St. Francis Community Center.
