As Bridget Daab turned toward the ocean at the green flag just to the south of 22nd Street’s beach in Barnegat Light, she quickly determined her path to a potential lead in the Ironwoman event on July 18.
“I’m not much of a runner, but I like to swim,” said the 19-year-old lifeguard from Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol, competing for the first time in the Young Gunz Showcase tournament.
