Ella Yanuzzelli spent last season away from the wrestling mat as she recovered from not one, but two shoulder surgeries. She finally got back into action a couple of months ago but was hesitant to try too much.
“I injured one shoulder, and then when I tried coming back the first time, I hurt the other shoulder – same injury, just the other side. It was tough,” Yanuzzelli said following the Southern Girls Invitational Jamboree, essentially an all-star competition contested on Jan. 20.
