A TURN OF SEASONS: The Ferris wheel at Fantasy Island Amusement Park and its fellow rides are methodically disassembled after an extended season. Every year the park packs its outdoor attractions away for the winter until next year’s opening. Park lovers can look forward to a new Giant Wheel of the same style that is on order to be up and running for the 2023 summer and fall. Not only a panoramic experience for riders, the 65-foot-tall Giant Wheel is also a landmark in Beach Haven.
