They laughed and hugged each other. They took turns holding and taking photos with the trophy. They shared one amazing moment they’ll never forget for as long as they live.
For the 14 seniors of the Southern Regional boys soccer team, winning the NJSIAA Group 4 championship on Nov. 24 was once just a hope, a dream, something most of them probably never thought would occur.
