To the Editor:
Regarding the commentary penned by Ralph Thayer (“GOP’s One Big Beautiful Bill Is a Monstrosity for Those in Need,” 7/16) in last week’s issue, Mr. Thayer amply demonstrates that TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is a very real condition for which, sadly, we’ve yet to render a cure, and he has my deepest sympathies.
