The Surfrider Foundation is taking legal action to prevent the federal government from approving new offshore drilling off the nation’s coasts following President Trump’s executive order revoking a drilling ban put in place by former President Biden. As the organization explained, Biden took decisive action to protect the coasts from new offshore drilling, protecting more than 625 million acres of U.S.
