This year’s Beach Haven Art Walk brought dozens of visual artists and artisans to the Queen City to display and sell their works of art in two and three dimensions, but one, Michael Clineman, stood apart with his original “surfboard taxidermy” – castoff surfboards transformed into one-of-a-kind sculptures. His process he described as a collaboration with a board’s original shaper.
“A surfboard is a work of art before I ever touch it,” he explained.
