Half a century and four years later, a family-friendly establishment in the heart of Historic Tuckerton, Stewart’s Root Beer, has changed hands ahead of its April 6 seasonal opening.

The 1950s style drive-in had changed hands only once before in its first 50 years, and was most recently owned by Manahawkin natives Brad and Cheryl Bennett. After 27 faithful years, they have passed the baton to another passionate couple.
