In January, the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge welcomed two new residents: Ricochet and Rebound, a young brother-and-sister pair of bobcats. Born on July 4, 2024, they arrived at the Forked River facility at just a few months old, “full of energy, curiosity and a need for a place to call home,” as staff noted.

Rick and Reba, as they are called, were part of an unexpected litter at a zoo in Arizona, where space and resources were limited.
