It’s not the most visible location, but on the back of Howard Madsen’s “Southern Tennis” hat the gold embroidered lettering spells out something fierce – “Madsenator.”

Of course, it might be easy to link him to the character with a similar moniker. Heck, like the Terminator, Madsen just keeps on going. The man has been teaching and coaching in some way, shape or form for 52 years. And, yeah, he’s like a machine.
