A 17-year-old male and Southern Regional senior died early in the morning on Sept. 30 after his vehicle crashed into a utility pole and electrical box at the intersection of Route 72 and Nautilus Drive, according to police.
According to Stafford Township police, who released a statement at about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, patrol units were called to the traffic signal of Mermaid Drive and Route 72 at approximately 1:35 a.m. for a male driver possibly asleep at the wheel.
