Nowadays, bowling for fun is sort of a foreign concept to Miranda Pielhau.

“I feel like I always turn down offers to go bowling with my friends,” she said, laughing. “And I know exactly why – because I’m going to bring at least three balls and they’re going to look at me and say, ‘Really?’ But that’s what it is. I’m going to try to fix myself while they’re just trying to have fun. Sometimes I hate that I bowl, because now I can’t just do it on a Friday night with my friends and have fun.”
