After not getting in on the scoring action the previous week, when his teammates busted out some of their big playmaking ability, Armando Sanchez finally had his shot to make something big happen on offense Sept. 1.
“That was a hard one,” said the laughing senior tight end/defensive lineman, who opened the scoring of Southern Regional’s 21-0 victory over Central Regional with a 65-yard touchdown reception nearly midway through the second quarter.
