It’s been more than 20 years since the Southern Regional golf team has contended for a state sectional championship. Coach Jeff Reilly’s Rams on Monday, May 6, made a run at it.
“The boys played outstanding golf today. Their performance was simply incredible,” Reilly said after his crew scored a tournament record 303 through 18 holes at Charleston Springs in Millstone. “Each of our top four golfers shot a personal tournament best. A 303 is, by far, the best team score in our history.”
