In five of the Southern Regional ice hockey team’s six losses, burying the biscuit in the basket has been an issue. In those games, the Rams scored two goals or less.
However, when the Rams have won, goal scoring hasn’t been a problem. Except for two victories, Southern has pumped in five or more. The others were 2-1 wins.
“Some days we look great and others we’re wondering where that really great team went,” said head coach Graham Borg, after his squad edged Red Bank Regional, 5-4, on Jan.
