Well, that sneak-attack nor’easter on Tuesday did one bang-up job on the Island’s entire beachline. Erosion feasted on even the widest of beaches.
While nor’easter erosion self-repairs fairly quickly, this relatively fast-moving storm likely left some long-lasting beach marks that, by my thinking, might influence the now-contracted, Island-long big beach fix. Surf City and Harvey Cedars are currently not part of the arriving replenishment.
