Individuals who are quick to categorize and label strangers may want to reconsider their actions. The commentary titled “Local Oldster: Summarizing Summer’s Shoobie-isms” in the Aug. 27 issue of The SandPaper provides grist for the mill.
The term “shoobie,” which I had not heard prior to the above-referenced commentary, prompted a speedy visit to my computer. Online, I learned the definition of shoobie.
