Kokai is a longtime private investigator, and still is. But during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic he got bored and decided to branch out. He’s now an associate with Weichert, Realtors on LBI. He also obtained a home improvement contractor license and launched a new business, R. Kokai Outdoor Contractor.

Kokai could be called a landscaper-plus. He doesn’t mow lawns, at least not on a regular basis.

“I only do that if it is necessary to mow before doing another project,” he said.
