Since the closure and demolition of Kubel’s Too a few years ago, the lot at 8200 Long Beach Blvd. in Brighton Beach has sat empty. However, last year the Long Beach Township Land Use Board granted minor subdivision approval for the site, and on Wednesday, June 11, property owner Barrier Island LLC will have an application before the board to build a new restaurant, bar and liquor store.
