On July 19, Mordecai Land Trust (MLT) held its annual fundraiser, The Bay Bash, at Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club. Mordecai Island, located west of Beach Haven, serves as a natural breakwater protecting our shorelines and is a crucial habitat for many species including birds like black skimmers and oystercatchers.
