Last week, I was in the waiting area in one of the many blood-testing labs in Southern Ocean County. Soon after, another patient arrived, also for testing. He talked to the receptionist about a similar surgical procedure that I had over five years ago. I said hello and gave him encouragement about the procedure he was about to face.
