With his team up 20-11 in the second game against Lacey on April 2, Matt Davis swatted a ball into the net, turned toward Lance Heuston and used his thumb to gesture upward.
“Every one of our guys up front has a different spot where he likes the ball, so they just have to learn those little things,” said Davis, referring not just to Heuston, but also to Donny Johnston, the two of whom are splitting the setting duties now that Dan Brunke has graduated.
