Stretching a half-mile from Leeward Avenue to Engleside Avenue in Beach Haven, Liberty Thorofare is a popular channel for local boaters. But concerns are being raised about the future of the waterway as a resident has filed a waterfront development permit at his property on Leeward Avenue.
Last month, the engineering firm of Horn, Tyson & Yoder sent a letter to all property owners within 200 feet that outlined the project.
