To the Editor:
Marsia Mason’s Commentary two weeks ago about her heroes of yore caused me to reflect on the level of villainy in our government that we are faced with today. Two months in, the facts are clear. Men, women and children overseas have died as a result of shuttering USAID. More will die. Given the current trajectory of the executive branch of the U.S. government it seems clear that they want to bring that same level of destruction to the American people.
We are in the grips of the greatest flimflam era since the carpetbaggers of the 19th century.
