The North Beach Taxpayers Association holds its third annual wine and cheese event on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Surf City Firehouse.
Association president Gillian Rozicer, co-chairing the event with Marge Girardo, said the free event is designed as a membership drive among North Beach homeowners and a meeting of current members with a keen interest in their 2-mile-long area of Long Beach Island between Surf City and Harvey Cedars.
