That was a pretty good gale we just had, though it was more forecasting fury than actual sky fury.
The pre-storm forecasting buildup, coming in from an uncountable number of social media angles, is becoming the new long-term norm. There are YouTube vloggers who now go nonstop “live” during weather events, a bit like the original days of The Weather Channel when it broadcast nothing but nonstop weather.
