With a keen interest in preserving natural habitats, 20 Island residents gathered to launch a native wildflower garden on March 27 in the North Beach section of Long Beach Township. Located on the median strip of Long Beach Boulevard between Surf City and Harvey Cedars, the garden will be a highly visible tribute to all the benefits and beauty of native gardening.
