My Beloved Wife Died of ALS – This May, Don’t Look Away

In December 2006, I lost my wife, Judith, my best friend and the bravest person I ever met, to a silent hit man known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.

As we go through May, officially dedicated as ALS Awareness Month, there are walks, runs, bike rides and other events to raise awareness about this devastating disease, for which there is currently still no treatment or cure.
