To the Editor:
This past winter, the New Jersey Maritime Museum faced several capital improvement challenges, including repairs to our HVAC, hot water heater, fencing and elevator. Several of our volunteers, including but not limited to Mary Lee Pence, Melinda Morrow, Kim Catapano and a few who shall remain nameless came up with the bright idea for a fundraiser to help offset these expenses.
Promoted as “Freezin’ for a Reason,” this involved an immersion of the museum’s president in the waters of Little Egg…
