Meals on Wheels Ocean County Executive Director Jim Sigurdson is retiring after 27 years of service to the organization.
Heather deJong will take the organization’s reins on Jan. 1, 2027, the group announced last week. Sigurdson will stick around until the end of 2026 to work closely with deJong to ensure a smooth transition.
