A new chapter has begun in the storied tale of Matador Surfboards and Brighton Beach Surf Shop. This month, the new Matador Surf Shop shop opens at 325 Route 72 East in Manahawkin in time for holiday shopping.
“Having a lot of boards on display, having people come in and talk surfboards, skateboards and skimboards and this and that – that’s what’s fun to me. I’m not ready to quit yet,” said second-generation owner of the board label and shops Michael Lisiewski, who turns 55 this week.
