To the Editor:
Who knew Ocean County offered such a wide range of services to its residents? Like many, I assumed there were programs for seniors, veterans, parks and more – but I also assumed that accessing them meant a trip to Toms River.
That’s why last Thursday’s “Ocean County Connections Day” was such a welcome surprise. Hosted by the borough of Harvey Cedars, the event brought the county directly to Long Beach Island.
